The Ballet Initiative

Strictly Dance’s Ballet Initiative is an exciting elite training program tailored to gifted dancers who have the facility and aspiration to pursue a career in the dance industry. The program works alongside schools in the area to ensure both their academic and dance requirements are met with both during and after school training opportunities available.


Our primary focus is classical ballet. Providing students with a strong secure classical technique is the basis, foundation and requirement for all forms of dance. Our faculty is an inspiring team of former professional dancers and teachers who are dedicated to providing our students with the highest calibre of technical and artistic training.


Our mission is to be a centre of excellence and encourage our students to be the very best they can be within a nurturing and dedicated environment.


Strictly Dance is forever striving to create exquisitely trained students, both technically and artistically.


The program is divided into three levels to support dancers from age 8 all the way up to pre-professional level.

We Boast to be one of the best equipped studios in Queensland
Strictly Dance has 6 fully equipped studios, 4 dance and 2 music studios
Studios are fitted with wall to wall full length mirrors & oak barres
4 out of 6 studios are air-conditioned
Tarkett covered sprung timber floors plus one with a specialist tap floor
Attached dancewear shop with 20% discount offered to all Ballet Initiative students
Our students have access to kitchenette including microwave, fridge
Acro equipment including tumbling runs
Dining area
Desks for catching up with homework or assignments
Lockers for all Ballet Initiative students
Music studio with Piano, keyboard, guitar, drums and microphones with stands

We proudly boast the largest selection of disciplines in the Redlands and Logan area due to our access to multiple studios. Our staff are experts in their fields all hand picked to make sure your child thrives under their nurturing and expert guidance. Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acro, Singing are just some of the genre we boast with an all-star faculty to inspire your child and instil a lifelong love of dance and the arts.
